About the GUERRE Project

WHY GUERRE MATTERS

The legacy of World War I is often underrepresented in the collective memory of Balkan societies. GUERRE addresses this gap by promoting cultural diversity, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue through the digital preservation of intangible and tangible heritage, enabling access for communities, minorities, and the general public. It can also provide neglected aspects of culture and history of WWI that are overshadowed by other historical events.
