About the Call

The GUERRE project invites filmmakers and audiovisual artists in Greece to create short films inspired by the history of photography and cinema during World War I, with a focus on the Macedonian Front.

Selected work will contribute to the digital storytelling of the GUERRE virtual museum.

Projects that explore:

  • Early war photography and film
  • Visual memory of WWI in the Balkans
  • Archival reinterpretation and montage
  • Historical narratives through cinematic language

What We Offer

  • Financial support for production, which may reach up to €4,000, including in-kind training
