Film & Audiovisual | GUERRE Digital Museum Platform

About the Call

The GUERRE project invites filmmakers and audiovisual artists in Greece to create short films inspired by the history of photography and cinema during World War I, with a focus on the Macedonian Front.

Selected work will contribute to the digital storytelling of the GUERRE virtual museum.

Applicants must be based in Greece.

What We Are Looking For

Projects that explore:

Early war photography and film
Visual memory of WWI in the Balkans
Archival reinterpretation and montage
Historical narratives through cinematic language

Formats

Short films
Documentaries
Video essays
Experimental films
Audiovisual works based on archival material

What We Offer

Financial support for production, which may reach up to €4,000, including in-kind training
Access to historical archives
Guidance and collaboration with historians and researchers
Inclusion in the European digital museum GUERRE (digital platform)
International visibility
